Send a Letter to the Editor

Art Therapy welcomes commentary from readers on articles, editorials, and reviews that have been published in recent issues of the journal. Send your letter via email to Lynn Kapitan, Ph.D., ATR-BC, Editor, at the Editorial Office of Art Therapy: atj@mtmary.edu

  • Subject line: Letter to the Editor
  • In your email message, please identify yourself with your name, address and phone number, and communicate that you are granting Art Therapy permission to publish your letter.
  • Attach your letter as an electronic file in word or rich text format. Letters cannot exceed 500 words.

The publication of your letter is determined by the Editor and Associate Editor based on its timeliness, available space, contributing value for readers of the Journal, and frequency of correspondence submitted by individuals. Not all letters will be accepted; it is the policy of the Journal to welcome the diverse opinions and ideas of its readership but also to uphold standards of professional courtesy, language, and ethics.
